In
year 1 they have made beautiful divas. They made them out of salt dough,
putting together the mix of ½ a cup of salt, ½ a cup of water and a cup of
flour. They then painted them after leaving them to dry. They used bright
colourful paints and lots of glitter and then put them under their rangoli and
Diwali stories display on a green and gold patterned cloth.

In the indian culture, we make real divas using holy butter and a type of fluffy small ball; we then light them and them pray to God.
