February 2018, our year 4 classes went on a fabulous trip to the Black Country
Museum to learn more on their topic the industrial revolution. As we were focusing
on how people worked we learned about the coal mines. For a special treat we
went into a mine shaft. This was no ordinary shaft though because through a
series of displays it showed how dangerous these coal mines were. It lasted for
around 30 minutes and at times, extremely frightening. Next, we went to a range of
houses/shops/a school hundreds of years old transported.
It was such a great
day!

I remember going there a few years ago; it was enjoyable.
