On
the 7th November 2018 the school council went on a trip to the civic
centre in Braunstone town.
First
of all, they started to walk to the civic centre with matching umbrellas. Soon
after they arrived
a kind Lady escorted them round the
back to the beautiful cascade of poppies falling down, each one is different
and unique, there were 14,178 poppies!! Each handcrafted by the residents of
Braunstone. They saw an exhibit of WW1 and had biscuits and juice.
