The Prince William Award

A fortnight ago, on Friday, Mr Stu Rowley a specialist hosted an assembly with Mr Jordan’s class and some other children. This was about building children’s confidence and level of assurance within them. This is called the Prince William Award (PWA). They created a performance together and talked about British values.

They did a series of acts, such as: Simon says games-which makes them focus; their feelings, expressing themselves; teamwork ‘the floor is lava’ game, thinking before you do and explaining how they were building up their confidence.

During this time with PWA, the children have developed confidence and the skill of performing in front of people, and they have yet more work to come. The people involved were: Stu, the teacher; Oscar, Olivia, Savjot, Sam, Rio, Owen, Oliver, Lucy, Lucia, Lucas, Lovell, Louis, Lennon, Layla, Justina, Joe, John, Jade, Daniel, Daisy, Castell, Calum, Caitlin, Bethany, Edward, Declan, Parakram and Billy.
