To start off this week’s Assembly, a picture of 5 children
constructing a den outdoors was displayed on the board. The question was: What
characteristics are they showing? The characteristics
our students suggested were: teamwork, confidence, resilience, creative and
good-listener. We had 8/12 classes above 96% and our winners were Mrs Doe’s
Class. We then did a counting challenge to see if we could all count 20 seconds
with our eyes closed and after that, Mrs Joyce came up and we all sang happy
birthday twice. This is the amount of time you should wash your hands whenever
you need to (seen as there is a certain corona virus going around). After that,
we practised the different ways you should clean your hands every time you wash
them and then put that and happy birthday together.
